Event Overview

Celebrating the legacy of the Rev. Samuel Shoemaker and the 75th Anniversary of Alcoholics Anonymous (AA).

The purpose of the seminar is to help people understand the alcoholic's spiritual journey of healing.

Co-founder of AA, Bill W., credited Shoemaker with giving the spiritual insights that helped him and Dr. Bob S. create the group's iconic Twelve Step program.

The workshops will focus on helping clergy and others better understand the nature of alcoholism and how to minister more effectively to alcoholics and their families.
